HYPNOTIC WRITING
Methodology – 36 Strategies of the Art of
Hypnotic Communication
1.
You must know what you
want – set a goal!
2.
Shake your target out
of his preoccupation (so he able to hear what you say)! Techniques: a quote, a story, a headline, an
open-ended question and etc.
3.
Understand what you target cares about; you are in a position of
power.
4.
Shift your target’s perception or
mental associations. Marketing is nothing,
but altering someone’s perception (and the target’s perception is his reality).
Put things into perspective before you state you benefits.
5.
Use contrast… Compare
to the worst, so to show you have the best indirectly.
6.
Translate facts and
features into benefits that make sense (emotionally) to the target. Focus on what
the target wants. People listen to you for their own reasons, not yours.
7.
Never radiate any
self-serving message – get out of your ego and into
the target’s ego.
8.
Do not write to the
masses, write to one person!
9.
Use only active
sentences.
10.
Check if every line
keeps your target’s attention.
11.
Sexy writing tools -
use: (1) Bullets, (2) Quotes, (3) Shorter
Paragraphs, and (4) Boxes.
12.
Write in the way how
people think - story! People usually don’t defend against a story, and a
captivating story speaks to the target’s conscious and unconscious mind. And
story allows people to draw their conclusion – ironically – the conclusion
drawn will be based on the material presented. And people rarely argue with their own conclusion.
13.
Dramatize the benefits (e.g., sleep like a king, win like a
champion, as fast as overnight success). Use word pictures – tell your target
exactly what happen when they use your product. You must see the events, the
actions, the scenes. Feel it!
14.Quiz your
readers.
15.
Embrace originality (i.e., being your unique self) – people want new voices.
16.
Repeat your suggestion continuously – while still keeping the
idea appear fresh.
17.Remind of their pain to nudge them in the direction of their pleasure.
18.
Gently remind your
target that he has a problem and you have a solution.
19.
Refrain from any
negative reminder… Keep focus
on their problems and remind them of their wants.
20.Use before-and-after statements/ writing style.
21.
Do not write to
impress… write to share
a feeling.
22.
Use shorter sentence, with short words. Delete all unnecessary words. Fine-tune
your writing relentlessly – until every word kills.
23.
Use common words.
24.
Get yourself excited.
And then create excitement.
25.
Create curiosity. Use
the word – why?
26.
Be ready to provide
facts, benefits and solid ideas. Facts give your writing backbone. Show your proof, example:
guarantee, testimonials (to increase credibility), and etc.
27.
Prepare the target for
the price.
28.Use scarcity principle – when something is hard to get, then people
really start to want it.
29.Anticipate objections and answer them at the right moment.
Ask yourself: “What is my reader thinking right now?”
30.Always ask for what you want. Command them
indirectly (with ‘hypnotic command’). And then only support your command with
reasons.
31.
Add a P.S., or even
a P.S.S. (and state your strongest point here).
32.
Always ensure visual attractiveness of your writing.
33.
Always put a Turning Point Message (i.e., the Peak) in your writing.
34.
To increase credibility
– you may admit
a weakness.
35.
Read your reading out
loud. Better, get someone to read
it out loud for you.
36.
After all – apply your common sense and experiences.
