Kamal Medical Bookstore is the 1 of 2 largest medical bookstore that supplies complete variety of medical textbooks and medical instruments in Malaysia. Another largest medical bookstore should be Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (PPUM). However, most people will choose to go Kamal Medical Bookstore because is more convenient in transportation. Kamal Bookstore Online

Kamal Bookstore is the only large bookstore that supplies complete variety of medical textbooks and medical instrument in Malaysia. However, Kamal Bookstore does not have an official website or an official online store. So you only can go there and buy a lot of books in one shot or ask them to courier to you.

So the steps are as below:

1. Email to kamalmedical@outlook.com and ask the price of your books and your book edition.
2. Then they will tell u the price, the postal fees and method of payment.
3. You can pay by bank-in to their Public Bank account or by Online Bank-in to their Public Bank Account..
4. Then email the banked-in slip or the online transfer ID, the book you want to buy, the edition, your address, name and contact number to them.
5. They will reply your email quite fast and efficient, within 24 hours. If not, send them again the next day, maybe they missed it.
6. Wait for 2 working days not including the day you got their reply email to get your phone call from the courier agent..
7. Collect you book! 

It is that simple! So you don't need to go Kamal Bookstore if you are studying far away from KL :-)

Kamal Bookstores is famous for wide varieties of  medical textbooks that you will never get that complete at any other places even big bookstore like Kinokuniya. The books sold here are also cheaper as they get the government contract.  In fact, there are only 2 bookstores that offer complete variety medical textbooks in whole Malaysia. They are:

1) Kamal Bookstore
2) Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (PPUM)

Many lecturers will advice medical, nursing or pharmaceutical students to these 2 places to buy textbooks and medical instruments. I would recommend you to Kamal Bookstore because you can reach there easily by public transport. For PPUM, you have no choice to drive yourself to get there. Moreover, there are a lot of legacy medical books are ONLY available in Kamal Bookstore.

How to go to Kamal Bookstore

You can either drive yourself or using public transport to go to Kamal Bookstore, it is very convenient actually.

3 ways to go
1) If you are driving yourself and to look for parking, make a turn into the Pekeliling Flat (now demolished) nearby the market and park you car there. The bookstore is just walking distance from the market.



2) If you are going by public transport,

1. Take Monorail to Chow Kit
2. Walk about 5 minutes straight overpass the Grand Seasons Hotel.
3. You'll find the bookstore in a block of shops right in front the entrance of Hospital Besar KL

3) It is also within walking distance of Titiwangsa star LRT station.

For the sake of students, Kamal Bookstore opens everyday except Hari Raya Haji & Hari Raya Puasa.
